The political dimension in environmental education curricula: Towards an integrative conceptual and analytical framework

The risk of neutralizing the political dimension in environmental education through depoliticization its thematic objects, intended learning, and educational purposes, is a curricular phenomenon identified by recent research field. aim this article to develop conceptual analytical framework identify clarification dimension. on as part provides learning entry that help avoid vanishing Nevertheless, not without themes cannot be decoupled from aims. Therefore, establishing considering themes, purposes together can effectively support construction education’s Thus, we define six issue meta-themes politicization trends cross them; draw components an context; discuss linking possible purposes. We believe within dialectic politicization/depoliticization crosses subjects, dimension, path leading democratic subjectification learners guarantees non-neutralization.
